Cooranbong Community Services Centre accepts donations of clothing, furniture, and household items for our Op Shop. We’re able to honour our mission and serve our Cooranbong community because of the kindness of our donors. Thank you for your support.
BEFORE YOU DONATE...
Our volunteers spend many hours sorting and cleaning donated goods. You can help by considering when and what you donate.
It costs the Centre thousands of dollars every year to dispose of items we cannot store or sell. This is money that could assist our volunteers and be used to better help our local community members.
Before you donate, please consider:
- Are the items in good condition?
- Would you give them to your best friend as a gift?
- Does the Community Centre have room and need for furniture or other items?
WHAT TYPE OF DONATIONS CAN I LEAVE?
All donations that meet our donation guidelines can be left during regular Centre hours of 9 am to 1:30 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Clothing and small items can be placed in donations bins when the security gates are open from 8 am to 5 pm on Monday to Thursday and 8 am to 1 pm on Fridays. Clothing should be placed in the clothing bins to avoid being scattered by pilferers.
Mattresses should never be left outside opening hours, as we need to meet very strict health regulations.
Furniture items need prior approval before being left out of hours to ensure they are currently needed. We may be able to arrange collection of furniture and large items.
