FINANCIAL, FOOD, AND FUEL SUPPORT IN COORANBONG
Cooranbong Community Services Centre was founded and exists to support people. Whether you need financial help, food, fuel, clothing, or furniture, we do our best to help struggling individuals and families make ends meet. If you live in Cooranbong, Dora Creek, Morisset, Morisset Peninsula, Wangi Wangi, Wyee and Wyee Point, Mandalong, or Martinsville, contact us to see how we can improve your quality of life.
EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE FOR THOSE IN NEED
Within the limits of our resources, we may be able to assist Centrelink Card holders with emergency assistance for food and fuel. We may also be able to provide basic furniture items, clothing, household goods, and manchester items at low or no cost. The money raised from our Op Shop makes this possible. We run on donations from other community members who want to help you. Our volunteers want nothing more than to empower you to get back on your feet again.
SOUTHLAKE MARKET PLACE
Southlakes Incorporated operates a food bank at the Centre for members of our community who need help with groceries and other household items. The food bank is open on Mondays from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and Wednesdays from 10 am to 1:30 pm. We have a variety of affordable food and toiletries for anyone in need. You must be a Centrelink card holder or person earning less than $40,000 per year to qualify for assistance.
