Motivated by Christian love and the practical example of Jesus Christ, Cooranbong Community Services Centre exists to provide a range of practical services to the community in the South Lakes District of the City of Lake Macquarie, NSW.
We operate an Op Shop for clothing, household items, and furniture at affordable prices. Anyone can donate, and all of the proceeds are used for charitable purposes.
Helping Our Community
Cooranbong Community Services Centre developed from a dream by several individuals to provide practical assistance to disadvantaged people in the Cooranbong area. With the support of the surrounding community the range and size of activities gradually expanded. In 2009, we officially registered as Cooranbong Community Services Centre Association Incorporated. Controlled by a Board of Management, with representatives from each of the local SDA churches and other selected supporters, we happily fulfil our mission to serve our community.>
How We Help Throughout The Year
The Centre provides clothing, household items, and furniture to the community, as well as supporting a range of community projects. We operate two halls, available for various community activities such as health programs, art and music programs, activities by various church groups, as well as family and community functions. As all our staff are volunteers, we are able to maximise resources available to help the community.

The easiest way to help is by supporting our Op Shop by shopping and donating. When you shop at Cooranbong Community Services Centre, your money goes towards supporting important causes and helping struggling community members. Skip the shopping mall, and shop small.
We also accept donations of good quality clothing, household items, and furniture, so think twice before you throw something out that someone else may be able to use.
