GIVING BACK TO THE COORANBONG COMMUNITY
Every cent counts at Cooranbong Community Services Centre. Apart from our operating costs such as utilities and maintenance, all of the money we make at our Op Shop goes toward direct support for needy individuals and families or special community projects. We help Cooranbong community members with emergency relief by providing food, household goods, clothing, fuel vouchers, special donations, and supporting special projects. You can give back to your community too by donating to our Op Shop or becoming a volunteer. Take a look at how we give back.
YOUR DONATIONS HELP
In addition to helping our local community, we also support selected projects that benefit the wider community. We donate 100% of the net proceeds from our Op Shop to causes that matter to us and our supporters. These projects include for example:
- Women’s Refuge – Allira House
- Quiltmakers – for gifts to needy individuals and families
- Scripture in Schools
- Support for Wyee Community Hub
- Support for Southlakes Incorporated Food Bank
- Disaster response requests as approved by the Management Committee
HELPING YOUR COMMUNITY
Your donations and purchases have touched the lives of those in your community. During the last 12 months, Cooranbong Community Services Centre has assisted 300 people with food or fuel vouchers. We’ve helped countless more with donations of furniture and clothing. We’re able to fulfil this very important mission because of the people like you who continue to support us.
